M&E Construction Manager
Barnsley
£200 - £275 per day (inside IR35)
If you're a Construction Manager with a strong mechanical, electrical or energy management background looking for an interesting new contract which has a mix of on-site and commercial work we have the project for you.
Our client is a principle contractor who's working on a prestigious new contract in Barnsley and are looking for an independent Construction Manager to roll out energy efficiency works across their council sites. Initially the contract is expected to last 6 months but we are expecting new work off the back of this so there is every likelihood this could be extended.
The company are establishing a foothold in South Yorkshire so alongside looking after the day-to-day work there will be opportunity for you take on more commercial development activities with the end client and other organisations.
All About You
If you're a Construction Manager with a background in electrical, mechanical or energy management projects we'd love to hear from you.
The project will involve energy management installations so any specific knowledge you have around this area would be great.
As you'll be overseeing work on site you'll need to hold a valid SMSTS and CSCS card plus have a First Aid at Work certification.
The reason we're looking for a Contractor in the first place is because we want someone with knowledge of Barnsley and South Yorkshire so you'll need to be currently living in the area.
