Mobile Drainage Engineer
Monday to Friday / 08:00 till 17:00
Van, Fuel Card, Tools, Travel time,
£35,000 till £36,000 per annum + Overtime
We’re currently looking for a Mobile Drainage Engineer to work on a prestigious government contract across North London.
The ideal candidate will join a team of engineers that support over 200 sites on a globally renowned government contract
Day-to-day duties will be to ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s.
Reporting to the Technical Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of the contract within their allocated area and in accordance with the contractual SLA’s, policies and processes.
The candidate will support the Area supervisor with implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered safely on time and to the required quality standards.
Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- To undertake maintenance duties as required to making sure all reports are accurately completed within specific timescales
- To provide a flexible approach to working practices and methods within the Drainage team which could involve undertaking tasks of a basic plumbing and mechanical tasks
- To work a flexible work pattern to give a degree of flexibility to the Area Supervisors planning.
- Ensure SLA’s are met to the agreed timeline along with making sure the quality of the works are of a high standard.
- To produce accurate documentation as required and to keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections e.g. L8 documentation, etc.
- Undertake minor quoted works from initial outset, through installation to completion as required whilst completing all required test certification as directed by the Supervisor
- To assist the helpdesk with feedback and updates as required
- Developing continuous improvement activities, responding to customer concerns and implementing corrective action when required
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, relevant stakeholders, staff and external bodies
- Developing effective communication and strong client / supplier relationships to aid business development and retention
- Sharing best practice with Site Supervisors and Senior Management and the wider FM team.
- Work closely with the Site Supervisor to undertake business improvement projects as directed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Time served drainage experience along with maintenance / PPM background incorporating fault finding and repair of drainage systems.
- Safe Handling of waste and disposal
- CCTV inspections, recordings / reporting
- Use of Bowser jetting systems
- Spillage control
- Gutter / Gully maintenance and repair
- Plumbing skills
- Mini Cam pro
