Build Recruitment are working with an NHS Trust in the Midlands to source a Project Support Officer - Salary: £21,350 - £24,150
Working within the Estates Directorate and reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Support Officer will be responsible for providing Project and Administration support to the project Management team and other members, with specific responsibilities for Project Compliance, Handover and Auditing, to ensure projects are commissioned and handed over in accordance with project procedures.
Working closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders, the Project Support Officer will undertake feasibility studies including various options and budget costs for small schemes under £25K. Responsible for the control of minor\small schemes including procurement in accordance with standing financial instructions, communicating with external contractors and scheduling works with internal stakeholders, obtaining best value for money and ensuring quality and safe control of works.
The Project Support Officer will liaise with Compliance Manager to ensure Asset information from Project Managers and associated PPM schedules from Maintenance Managers is entered into the system to ensure compliance.
It is essential that applicants have experience/certification in use of Excel & other MS Office packages.
Experience of Facilities Management within the NHS is desirable, but not essential, as is a Project Management Qualification (PRINCE2, Six Sigma, APM etc.)
