The Role: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Singapore
Salary: circa £150,000 pluspackage
We have a great Senior Leadership opportunity with one of our clients. The search is on for an accomplished and agile Chief Operating Officer.
As you would expect, this role will oversee a number of business areas including finance, sales, resources, talent and operational efficiencies. A genuinely 360 role which will allow the right candidate space to utilise their full skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Managing Director in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, talent, and diversity development.
- Cultivate strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Lead the finance team, control and manage the companies cashflow, banking, and balance sheet.
- Ability to drive margin creation and improved efficiency.
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive and diverse culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are achieved.
- Work closely with the broader management team to translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
- Adhere to group and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and ensuring accurate, timely and clear business and financial reporting to the shareholder.
- Drive a service culture strategy that improves client retention and margin improvement.
We feel that this role will suit candidates coming from a fast-paced environment such as FMCG or Logistics / Distribution, but other sectors will be considered. A creative and agile approach is required along with excellent commercial and inclusive leadership skills.
