Refrigeration Engineer
£36,000 - £39,500 + Overtime & On Call
Mon - Fri / 8:00am - 5:00pm

We have a number of fantastic new roles with a new client of ours, covering multiple large blue chip companies - industrial/commercial covering all aspects of installation, infrastructure and design. Our client is looking to recruit a Refrigeration Engineer in the Gloucestershire and surrounding home counties.
The successful candidate will be expected to take charge of each site and manage all aspects of their work and develop a relationship with the client - this would be a very good role for a engineer looking to develop their time management skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation work efficiently and in accordance with client systems, procedures and standards and to the current F-Gas Regulations. In particular installation activities related to the
- Equipment associated with these items e.g. ductwork and condensate drains installation of refrigeration equipment such as D-X Units VRF and VRV Systems plus the
- Undertake inspection, maintenance and testing of own and others work, completing and issuing of the necessary certification as required under client systems and F-Gas Regulations
- Setting out jobs from drawings and specifications
- Requisitioning of equipment and installation materials
- Supervising and training other operatives
- Maintaining own and company plant and tooling
- Maintaining company vehicle
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered apprentice or equivalent training in refrigeration installation work
- Level 2 NVQ in Refrigeration & Air conditioning (Small Commercial Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems), (City & Guilds 6087) or equivalent
- C&G 2078 Safe handling of Refrigerants
- C&G 2079-11 FGas & ODS Regulations: Category 1
- ACRIB Registration
- English and Maths GCSE grade C or equivalent.
