The Role: Business Development Manager

Sector: Property – Corporate Property Advisory Agency

Location: London

Salary: £60K to £70K DOE + Comm

My client is a forward thinking and innovative corporate property advisor with and enviable client list and an exceptional reputation. With a solid and achievable plan for growth they now wish to add a Business Development Manager to their incredible team.

The Position

The individual will be overseeing the Business Development Department of the company. The goal is to build the department to team of who will service all areas of the business during a time of major growth. The candidate must be an energetic, competent with instinctive negotiation and sales skills as well as having a good history of research, lead generation and accountability.

Responsibilities:

• To take responsibility for delivering the business development strategy in line with our vision, to see potential clients through a pre agreed sales funnel.

• To undertake lead generation and manage new and existing business relationships.

• To assist in the growth of multiple departments

• Maintain, improve and enhance relationships with key customers.

• Create and drive regular business review meetings with clients.

• Manage client onboarding and be main point of liaison with them by leading meetings and following up with notes and action plans.

• Marketing via social platforms; property databases; mail outs.

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in Sales and/ or Business Development in a professional services arena.

• Must have digital marketing experience.

• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

• In-depth understanding of customers and their position in the industry.

• Highly skilled documentation and presentation skills.

• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and all external stakeholders.

• Essential skill set level of MS Office Applications
