An opportunity has arisen in our small but fast growing company for a Project Manager with a background in Electrical Contracting & previous experience in Solar PV.

Elco Group specialise in the installation of solar PV & EV chargers mainly within the new build sector. Due to our growing order book we are looking for a driven and ambitious Project Manager to join our team.

The Role

You will be based at our office in Dartford and be responsible for the day to day management of solar PV installations across the country. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the field of solar PV and have technical knowledge of the systems. This may be an electrician/installer or as a project manager. You will organise and manage installation teams, undertake G99 applications to grid gor connection of PV Systems (full training will be provided), assisting with electrical designs, managing our project management software and ensuring this it up to date with all compliance met. You will provide technical support and ensure quality of work meeting the regulatory standards and is completed to a high standard.

The Person

As the Project Manager you will bring a wealth of knowledge to the company and have the following;

- Proven experience in the Solar PV sector
- Technical knowledge of electrical & solar PV systems
- Electrical Qualifications are required
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- Full UK Driving License (company van will be provided).
- Candidates looking to move into project management from a site role will be considered

You should have a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines as well as strong written and spoken communication skills.

Whilst prior experience of attending site is not necessary, you must be practical, and once trained, you must have sufficient presence and confidence to hold your own when attending site based meetings.

We offer a friendly and sociable environment with our standard hours being 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday with a 4pm finish on a Friday as well as some home working. We are extremely flexible as long the required tasks are being completed.
