Semi Static Multi Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer (F Gas needed!)
£34,000-£37,000 per year
Bristol
Mon - Fri + Overtime/On Call allowance + Van provided!
We are currently looking to recruit a Semi static AC biased facilities maintenance engineer to work on a large commercial office contract in Bristol for one of the South West's biggest FM providers.
The ideal candidate will have the ideal knowledge of Facilities Maintenance and AC knowledge in a commercial environment, and will be able to support other contracts on their days as a mobile engineer. This is a very good role for someone who wants to be in hybrid position covering multiple contracts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all Air Conditioning Planned and Reactive Maintenance for the multiple sites, and will work some days as a static engineer and other days as a mobile engineer covering other contracts for the same FM provider.
Week Rota Example:
Monday: Static site 1 (van to get to and from site)
Tuesday: Static site 2 (van to get to and from site)
Wednesday: Static site 1 (van to get to and from site)
Thursday & Friday: Mobile covering this contract and others within the wider business around Bristol.
Job Details.

- Monday to Friday - 8AM / 5PM
- Salary: £34,000 - £37,000
- Van, Fuel Card, Tools, PDA
Job specific accountabilities.
- Management of maintenance & reactive work across several large commercial sites.
- Good Facilities Maintenance knowledge
- Perform planned preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and reactive works when needed
- Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building services
- Carry out all reactive breakdowns and services.
- Use provided test and monitoring equipment to maintain engineering systems to aid fault and repair
- Carrying out pre-planned maintenance, attend service call, diagnosing and repairing faults with air conditioning and refrigeration in commercial and industrial environments
- Provide technical support to other engineers
- Be a part of a call-out rota
- Keeping logbooks up to date
Qualifications / Experience.
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Air Conditioning or a Heating and Ventilation qualification
- F-Gas 2079 (Necessary)
- Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities
- Great client facing experience and appearance
