Technical Facilities Manager/Maintenance Manager
Bristol
Up to £50,000 dependent on experience
This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting new destination venue in Bristol as a Maintenance Manager/Technical Facilities Manager to lead a team of technicians to ensure the site is maintained, safe and welcoming for guests.
Your role will be to lead and manage a team, providing guidance and direction to ensure that all PPM's and Reactive Maintenance is completed within a prompt time frame to ensure it doesn't impact the visitor experience to create downtime within the plant on site.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Onboarding new technicians
- PPM Planning
- Organising the plant maintenance schedules to ensure limited downtime.
- Reactive maintenance
- Management of CAPEX Projects
- Budge Management
- Liaising with specialist contractors
- Implementing new processes and procedures
Your Character
This role is a new site and business. That means you will need to be flexible as the business is growing, you will be super resilient and quick to react.
You'll be making improvements to processes and continuously looking for way to improve the guest experience.

This is a hands on management role. You will be expected to muck in as and when necessary, if needed.

This is a state of the art sports venue with exciting plant and kit on site. The business is expanding rapidly and is constantly changing and evolving as it grows and adds additional services for it's guests.
This is exciting, but presents it's own challenges. You will be quick to react and able to problem solve and assist in getting new services mobilised and efficient.
You will enjoy working in a customer facing environment and leading a team to service excellence to bring out their full potential.
As the business expands, there's a potential to open new sites across the country. You will find this exciting and will want to be part of the adventure.
Your Skills
You will have a technical background, ideally mechanical engineering as you will be expected to lead a team managing M&E Plant. It would be a distinct advantage if you have experience of working on Siemens motors.
