Bid Manager
Birmingham
£40,000 - £45k plus benefits
Hexagon FM are working with a fast growing business to help them find a Bid Manager to join their team, leading Bids and managing the team to ensure all bids are bring submitted to the correct quality, on time and to brand guidelines with the best content possible.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with senior management and technical experts to draw through specific technical requirements as and when necessary
- Creating a current bid library which is regularly updated to speed up the bid process
- Writing well written bids, with accurate pricing and content
- Managing the bid/no bid process
- Responding to tender portals and ensuring RFI's and PQQs are completed and tracked
- Resource management to ensure that there is sufficient resource to complete each tender on time, communicating effectively with the Head of Bids and liaising with the other bid managers to optimise central bid resource
- Ensure that bidding activity is in line with the company sales and strategic plan
- Liaise with the Head of Sales to support them with their sales strategy
- Hold bid follow up sessions to ensure lessons learned are realised and change process, procedure, or content where necessary
The role and your background
This role is an office-based role from Birmingham.
Some travel may be required with the team, as and where necessary.
This is a fast-paced role, and the successful candidate will be well organised and used to managing multiple bids at any one time.
You will ideally have experience within facilities management, security or construction related industries. Experience of completing OJEU bids a distinct advantage.
Salary paying in the region of £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience plus benefits.
