A large healthcare organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor for a period of 3 months.

Main Responsibilities:
- Post holder is responsible for ensuring the delivery of projects to specified HBN, HTM and construction standards, for works to the whole estate, maintaining the integrity and coherence of the building related standards, quality, governance and processes -and for approval of compliance to such standards and processes;
- The remit of this role may develop in line with business need, and post holders are required to carry out other reasonable duties, including covering for colleagues’ leave;
- The post holder is required to be flexible in developing the projects in accordance with changes in the Property Services management agenda and priorities;
- Develop, manage, monitor and control construction related projects for the Trust, which will include building surveying, fabric works design, coordinating with the in-house M&E team to provide a complete design package ready for tender;
- To monitor, report and provide full project information to the PMO on request;
- To deliver projects to the satisfaction of the client, budget and program. To lead external design teams as and when necessary, to deliver the required project to the KPI’s stated late in this document;
- Ensure governance, process, statutory and legal compliance and improved customer service to the Trust.
A successful candidate will have:
- HND or HNC in Building Surveying or related subject;
- A successful track record in a property related project management, design and management of Building projects;
- Proven expertise to lead, plan, manage, interact with colleagues and deliver projects successfully in a spirit of cooperation.
