Build Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation based in East Midlands to source two Electrical Engineers: £30k - £40k + generous benefits package.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Electrical Engineers will be responsible for preparing drawings, specifications, and site supervision as well as technical aspects of minor projects and development works across the property portfolio.
Working closely with the Senior Engineering team, the Electrical Engineers will be responsible for producing drawings for electrical services, including design calculations and estimates as well as updating existing drawings by the physical inspection of buildings to determine cable runs, power-points, lighting circuits etc.
Working collaboratively with in-house and external teams, the Electrical Engineers will control and supervise contractors working on site when involved from initial design.
It is expected that applicants will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, experience of working within construction/project teams as well as being proficient in AutoCAD. Experience of High Voltage systems is advantageous.
