We are recruiting for a Site Manager with experience of managing on site Mechanical plant projects to commercial facilities. Based in Edinburgh the role is a temp ongoing role with the possibility to move into permanency pending pipeline. The role will involve the refurbishment and installation of Fan Coil systems, SAC Splits and associated HVAC plant to large scale commercial estates. Based on a 47.5k salary (22.83/hr PAYE) 40 hours per week.
Project Site Manager Description:
Managing a mechanical project on commercial estates
Fan coils, AHU's, splits and associated pipework
Working from Technical drawings
Planning project workload
Managing sub contractors and in-house personnel
Reporting into Senior Project Manager
Direct liaison with end user
Issuing permits to work and H&S paperwork
Risk assessment and H&S on site management
Logistics coordination and supplies
Sign off and commissioning of works
Requirements:
Qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience of Fan coil units and mechanical / HVAC building services
Experience of site/project management
Black CSCS or equivalent
Experience of managing sub-contractors and in-house personnel
Familiar with building services operations and refurbishment projects
H&S experience
Lead Engineering experience
CDM experience
Pipework experience on commercial and office buildings
