Lead Engineer

We currently have a great opportunity for a Lead Engineer to join an existing team of 2 on a large corporate site based in the Docklands area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in leading a team of engineers, LVAP duties as well as hands on experience with cooling towers.
This role is working for one of the leading FM companies in the industry, as a company they can offer a fantastic package with salary, benefits, pension scheme and much more.
Job specific responsibilities:
- Carry out/delegate and update all maintenance responsibilities including but not limited to all legal compliance tasks
- Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
- Issuing and closing out permits to works
- Arrangement of RAMS
- Managing the day-to-day schedules of the engineers
- Writing of PPM schedules
- Overseeing small works projects and liaising with specialist contractors
- Managing the client accordingly and keeping them up to date with site developments
Qualifications / Experience:
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent with either a Mechanical or Electrical qualification
- LVAP
- Cooling towers experience (essential)
- Good knowledge of building services
- Client facing experience
- Excellent team working, customer care and problem solving capabilities
