Bid Writer - FM Business
Remote Role
£35 - £80,000 – DOE
We are seeking Bid Writer a to provide support to the business
Responsibilities:
- Developing pricing strategy with Sales Lead and Senior Management Team
- Working with the Purchasing Manager and sales team to negotiate contract pricing and discount
- Develop Pricing matrix on all Bids/Tenders
- Controlling and gaining margin approval in line with company delegation of authority rules
- Collate and draft technical written bid question responses
- Liaise with Design, Sales, Marketing and Operations team to gain develop and maintain high quality document production
- Liaising with operations for set up and design/sales to ensure mock-up product brochures.
- Collate pricing information from submitted tenders, including unit prices and discounts
Ideal candidate will be:
- Team player used to the complex nature of bid preparation and pricing
- Experience in pricing, preferably in the consumer goods, retail or B2B industry
- Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen in business issues
- Excellent excel and financial modelling skills
- Commercial related Industry experience
- Excellent eye for detail
- Effective negotiating skills
- Track record of upselling services
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in commercial tendering and pricing
- Excellent presentation skills
