Reactive Maintenance Engineer
North/South London
Mobile - Van Provided
£32,000 - £35,000 + overtime
We have a fantastic opportunity available working for one of the UK's fastest growing reactive maintenance companies who are securing multiple clients nationwide. As a company they can offer career progression, job security, up-skilling courses and some great company benefits.
We are looking to recruit a Reactive Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to work on a mobile basis on multiple sites in North and South London.
Normal working hours Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00.
The successful candidate will be expected to take charge of the sites they work on and manage all aspects of their work - this would be a very good role for an engineer looking to develop their time management skills and expand their knowledge.
As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will be responsible to ensure that the reactive callouts are dealt with in a timely manner to meet SLA's.
Whilst on site you will be carrying out a range of building maintenance and reactive work, This could be anything from a simple lamp change / emergency light test to a 6 month / annual test, to an emergency breakdown that will require thinking on your feet to get resolved ASAP to ensure minimum disruption to the client.
Whilst on site you might also be required from time to time to carry out some more general building maintenance, this could be replacing a ceiling tile, or putting a door handle back on for example.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- 18th Edition
- City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 Electrical qualifications
- City & Guilds Mechanical Level 2/3
- Multi Skilled knowledge or additional trade qualifications ideal
- Demonstrate experience in maintenance and repair of a wide and varied range of electrical systems and mechanical systems.
- Undertake reactive repair and fault finding on various systems and equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and completing all report sheets.
- Maintenance of lighting systems and emergency light testing
