Contracts Supervisor
Manchester
You will be working for one of the largest Facilities Maintenance Companies in the UK. They are a nationally established company who specialise in the Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Government, Healthcare and Educational sectors.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Contract Supervisor for a highly prestigious contract in Manchester.
To report directly to the Contract Manager with responsibility for Supervising the day to day operation and maintenance, including development of the contract.
To ensure that all staff under your control are effectively working , and to ensure that all third party contractors who carry out work on the site do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company procedures and site specific procedures where applicable.
To assist in delivering those aspects of the Company Performance Contract as they relate to this site, including satisfying all the requirements of the Company and the contract with the Customer, in line with existing procedures, by:
Fulfilling site health, safety and environmental, quality and customer service targets.
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of existing plant and equipment and diagnosing faults as required.
Safely and efficiently maintaining (or supervising the maintenance by third party contractors of) existing plant and equipment.
Safely and efficiently installing (or supervising the installation by third party contractors of) new plant and equipment.
To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs).
Qualifications:
Apprenticeship , primary trade qualifications and substantial experience within a building services environment
The offer:
Full Time/Permanent
£28,000 to £37,000 plus call out allowance of £200 per month
