Cobalt are working on behalf of one of the UK's largest property owners who are seeking an Operations Manager to join a close knit team at one of their key shopping centre schemes. Situated in West London, this shopping centre is of a boutique nature, housing many smaller, local retailers. The purpose of the role is to assist the centre director and wider team in ensuring that the centre is ran in line with high company standards, seeking to improve efficiency for the centre.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage and assist with service provider tenders and management of their contracts.
- Maintain a strict overview on compliance systems and report regularly on compliance.
- Proactively review and update company policy and management guidelines.
- Produce monthly KPI reports.
- Confer with central operations teams when and where changes to policies and procedures are required to be implemented.
Key experience required:
- Experience of operations or centre management in a retail setting for a real estate firm is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of service charge budgeting.
- Knowledge and experience of building maintenance and engineering management.
- IOSH is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to maintain and develop good relationships with key stakeholders.
