Shift Engineer - Electrically Biased
City of London
£39,000 - £40,000+ Overtime
4 ON 4 OFF Shift Pattern - Days only
We currently have a great opportunity for a Shift Engineer to work on a large skyscraper in the City of London area for a globally renowned Facilities Management company.
They provide an extensive range of Built Asset Solutions to the commercial sector, with a wealth of highly trained experience personnel. They cover all Mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, BMS and the full building services package. They can offer excellent training, career progression and a stable and secure employment.

Job specific responsibilities:
- Perform planned electrical & mechanical preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and reactive works
- Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building systems
- Carry out electrical and mechanical and system checks
- Liaising with the client and taking part in any meetings
- Undertake any other tasks that may arise from time to time
- Ensuring all your allocated activities are completed to cost, timescales and appropriate quality standards as required.
Qualifications / Experience:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent with either an electrical or mechanical bias
- 18 th Edition (Desirable)
- HVAP (Desirable, not essential)
- Working as a Mechanical or Electrical building services engineer in a commercial environment
- Good knowledge of building services
- Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities
