We are recruiting for a commercial maintenance plumber / mechanical engineer to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a static basis in the Chester area. The plumber will be responsible for all repairs and upkeep to the water services and mechanical services on the facility. The role is a permanent position paying 26-28k basic. Mon-Fri circa 40 hours per week.
As the Maintenance Plumber/Mechanical Engineer your daily tasks will include

As the Maintenance Plumber/Mechanical Engineer your daily tasks will include
Completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
To cover the following plant:
- Hot and cold water feeds
- Pumps and valves
- Non-Gas Boiler work
- Overlap with general HVAC systems
- Drainage
- Mechanical plant room
- Leak repair
- Water heaters and cylinders
- Water Tank
- L8 prevention, flushing and thermostatic mixer valves
- Plus other associated tasks
Plumber Requirements:
- Candidates will be time served and have as a minimum City and Guilds in Plumbing / Mech Engineering
- Ideally CSCS or similar H&S certification
- Experience of building services / commercial maintenance
- Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
- It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
- Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
- Be prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.
- Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
- To be able to pass through a security clearance
