ESTIMATOR (FACILITIES MANAGEMENT)
UP TO £60K (Dependent on experience) + BENEFITS
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's growing multi-disciplinary FM companies as an Facilities Estimator for mechanical, electrical based from home with regular travel to the Midlands Office.
We are looking for an experienced Estimator who has previous experience costing FM contracts to work as part of a friendly business development team. You will possess excellent IT skills and will be able to manage and manipulate large costing spreadsheets.
The ideal candidate will be customer focused and keen to visit site to understand the clients requirements and to work closely with their fellow team members to create a relevant winning bid, utilising the skills within their close team.
You will have a keen eye for detail and will have come from a facilities management or facilities maintenance background and have experience costing FM bids.
Your role will consist of the following:
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers for costings to be added into the bid
- Manipulating and maintaining various estimating databases to produce timely and effective costs for the bid team
- Loading asset information into the estimating database, costing labour hours etc.
- Manage the imports and exports of data into internal estimating database.
- Assist as part of the mobilisation team handing over from sales to operations team.
- Developing proposal documents to include the prepared estimates
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player with advanced Excel skills and be fully IT literate and able to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service. You will also be technically qualified in either mechanical or electrical building services engineering. Ideally to degree level.
This is a roaming role, based from home with an office and you will be expected to travel as part of your role to include overnight stays as and when required.

This role is paying in the region of £40 - £60k plus car, laptop, mobile and benefits.
