Due to our client’s expansion and development plans we are looking to recruit a range of High Voltage (HV) experienced Electrical Engineers including HV Fitters, Jointers, HV Managers and SAPs (Senior Authorised Persons) to carry out HV installations, maintenance and routine HV and LV switching in a safe, efficient, and economic manner. The requirements cover accounts across the county therefore candidates can be based from the hubs of Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Scotland central belt.
The role will be based from each regional hub and cover projects largely within that region. Specific job titles will include the above such as HV Electrical fitters and installation electricians, HV Managers, Senior Appointed persons, projects electricians and associated mates etc. Pay is reflective of the above and will range between £250-£450/day depending on experience, role requirements and payroll method. With flexible working patterns, extensive overtime available, competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
HV Electrician Requirements:
The role will include setting out from drawings and specifications to establish the requirements of a project and ensure compliance to policies and procedures.
To complete HV (and LV) switching system and electrical plant installation projects to large scale facilities. 11kv, 33v and upwards.
To ensure all components and HV/LV plant is correctly installed and within specifications
To ensure all H&S obligations are met and exceeded
To coordinate with the project delivery management and liaise with planners etc.
To provide remedial and maintenance services to existing electrical plant and installations
Requirements
As a base requirement, individuals will possess appropriate electrical qualifications and CSCS/ECA grading/accreditation or equivalent.
Experience of HV switching and large scale electrical installation projects
In addition, you'll also have achieved the appropriate City & Guilds or equivalent as an electrician and where appropriate hold a current and valid HV SAP authorisation at 11Kv, 33kv or upwards.
A full UK driving licence is required for the roles, as well as a commitment to excellent standards of safety and the ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
