We are recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer to be based on a resident site in Glasgow.
This will include general HVAC and pump / valve and pressure system maintenance.
This is a temp to perm position with the possibility of a permanent role available.
Pay per hour is £12.77 PAYE.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. You will be required to work a backshift every 1 in 8 weeks working 12pm - 8am.
Mechanical engineers, commercial plumbers and HVAC engineers are welcome to apply
Description:
The mechanical engineer will complete the maintenance operations on the facility plant duties and associated kit to include:
- Valves and pumps
- Solenoids
- pressure release valves
- AHU's and fan coils
- chillers (if F-Gas)
- Commercial plumbing and pipework
- motors
-plant room pipework and venting
-non-gas boilers
-water feeds
-plus all associated kit
Requirements:
Qualified mechanical engineer
Experience of maintenance and plant room upkeep
Experience of venting and AHU's etc.
Excellent client liaison and customer service approach
Able to complete shift work
