Our client is an established FM Service Provider that has a strong presence in the university and student accommodation market, it is currently looking to hire a proven Hard Services Manager for its latest contract in the Dorset area.
As the Hard Services Manager, you will report into the General Manager for the contract and have a small team of engineers that report into you. You will also be responsible for overseeing all specialist sub-contractors and you will operate at a strategic level, overseeing the hard services department, with a small element of ‘hands-on’ work if required.
The Hard Services Manager must come from an engineering background and have managed teams of engineers previously, you will ensure your team is hitting SLAs, the buildings are all compliant, H&S is paramount, PPMs are being carried out on time and to budget and ensure and O&M manuals are kept up to date.
In addition, the Hard Services Manager must be financially aware as you will work to keeping within a specified budget and work closely with the GM. You will also carry out regular audits and H&S checks of the buildings.
