£34,000 per annum plus enhanced rate, call out, overtime
Working at a prestigious site for one of the UK's fastest growing hard services FM providers , we have a position for a commercial mechanical and plumbing engineer to work as part of an on site maintenance team. This position is working as part of a rota system and will include evening and weekend work - a premium rate is paid for weekend work.
Your main duties will be to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements. Undertake minor fabric tasks and non skilled tasks as required. This includes the sites air handling units, boilers, hot water generators, pumps, compressed air systems, building management system and all other M&E associated building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels. You will also be prepared to carry out basic building fabric maintenance such as painting, lamp changes, and basic plumbing,
The ideal candidate will hold either a City and Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing or mechanical maintenance engineering and have previous demonstrable commercial maintenance experience. You will also be prepared to work as part of a multi skilled team.
On offer is a permanent position paying a basic salary of up to £34,000 per annum, with a premium rate paid for weekend work, and opportunity to boost your earnings with call out and overtime.
