Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Data Centre
Hayes, UB3
Monday to Friday
Salary: £42,000
We have a unique opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a critical background to work on behalf of our client on across a large Data Centre in Hayes.
During such uncertain times our client can offer great stability and progression.
Our client is looking for an engineer with previous critical engineering experience, ideally from a data centre but not essential.
Job specific Accountabilities;
- Perform planned preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and reactive works
- HV Switching
- Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building systems
- Carry out electrical and mechanical and system checks
- Use provided test and monitoring equipment to maintain engineering systems to aid fault and repair
- Undertake any other tasks that may arise from time to time
- Ensuring all your allocated activities are completed to cost, timescales and appropriate quality standards as required
Qualifications / Experience;
- NVQ level 2/ 3 or equivalent with either an electrical bias
- 17th / 18th Edition
- HV Authorised Person or HV Aware (Desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
- Has operational excellence as a core value.
- Have very good IT and report writing skills.
- Good knowledge of building services
- Experience of engineering services maintenance
- Experience of electrical installations including UPS and generators (desirable)
- Excellent team working, customer care and problem solving capabilities
