Electrical Shift Engineer (2IC)
Canary Wharf
£42,500 + £2750 Shift Allowance
06:30 - 18:30 & 18:30 - 06:30 shift pattern, 42 hours per week!

Job Details;
- 2nd In Command Shift Engineer
- 4 on 4 off shifts - Days and Nights
- 12 Hour Shifts
- Salary - £42,500 + £2750 Shift allowance
- Health Insurance, 20 Days Holidays & other benefits
- Overtime on offer.
Managing the Following;
? Building management system.
? Lighting Control system.
? CMMS
? Air conditioning System, DFU's , s , AHU's and ACU's
? Chillers and CHW infrastructure
? Boilers and Heating Systems.
? DRUPS and ancillary components.
? Single phase and three phase motors.
? Emergency lighting.
? Operation of HV & LV Electrical Systems
? Fire Detection and Fire Suppression Systems
? Lifts
? Pumps and VFD's
? PDU and Distribution Boards LV Electrical Infrastructure
? Other Data Centre related infrastructure.
Qualifications / Experience;
- NVQ level 2/ 3 or equivalent with either an electrical bias
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.
- HV Authorised Person (REQUIRED)
- HNC/HND in relevant field or associated Electrical/Mechanical Apprenticeship (Or Similar)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
- Has operational excellence as a core value.
- Have very good IT and report writing skills.
- Good knowledge of building services
- Experience of engineering services maintenance
- Experience of electrical installations including UPS and generators (desirable)
- Excellent team working, customer care and problem solving capabilities
