Our client is a highly ambitious company with serious aspirations to become even better. Our maintenance team provides Fabric, Mechanical & Electrical reactive and planned maintenance.
The Property Services department is a successful and acclaimed maintenance provider for our customers corporate assets and strives to deliver outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will take on the delegated responsibility for Fire safety ensuring good management and compliance. This is a great opportunity to develop their area of responsibility and ensure a safe environment for working staff and the public.Working alongside the authorities H&S Department the successful candidate will managing various Fire systems and risk assessor contractors ensuring performance and value for money.
Responsibilities of the job include:
* Ensuring Fire systems and risk compliance across the ICT & Property Services portfolio.
* Managing contractors carrying out Fire systems upgrades, maintenance, surveys and inspections.
* Managing Fire related projects.
* Ensuring excellent management of records and files.
* Ensuring sites have Risk assessments, actions are investigated, remedials successfully completed and the risk assessment is up to date.
* Ensuring building managers are managing the risks and works commissioned in their buildings.
* Developing strong relationships with the engineering team and clients.
You will need to have the ability to be organised, use your initiative and communicate to a good standard, both written and spoken, at all levels.
Qualifications:
* NEBOSH certificate either - General or Construction
* NEBOSH Fire certificate or FPA;
* Degree level or equivalent
And one or more of the following;
* Asbestos P405;
* Tech IOSH
* H&S related diploma/degree.
* CMIOSH (corporate member).
* Membership of a relevant body
* Demonstrable experience working at a senior level; in a similar work environment.
* Degree level or equivalent
* Continued Professional Development, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of Fire Regulations and Legislations.
* Experienced in CAFM systems
