Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
Salary: up to £40,000
Location: Northamptonshire
We are recruiting for this role through COVID-19 and our client is currently interviewing for this position
Who will you be working for?
An award-winning fulfilment centre that provide a fulfilment services to a range of small-mid sized global ecommerce businesses. Storing and couriering products ranging from food, leisure & homewares and technology. Due to the increase in business throughout 2020 so far, they are planning to open another warehouse in the area so this role will be split across both sites.
What are we looking for?
A dynamic and adaptive individual who ideally has a wealth of experience within warehouse/logistical centres. This is a brand new position created by the company so the successful candidate will be required to work closely with other departments to develop bespoke Health & Safety procedures for the business and its employees as well as ensuring continued compliance to ongoing Governmental advice in light of COVID-19.
The right candidate must:
- Currently be a Health & Safety Manager, ideally from a FMCG/Warehouse/Logistics background
- Possess all relevant and up-to date Health & Safety qualifications
- Be confident in producing a brand new and bespoke health & safety system
- Be able to work well under pressure and keep up to date with frequent and on-going governmental advice to ensure compliance
- Have fantastic communication and customer service skills with an ability to train staff members at all levels
