Our client currently has an available vacancy for a mobile refrigeration & air conditioning engineer covering various contracts around Worcestershire
You will be responsible for installation, planned & reactive maintenance, service and breakdown repair for commercial and industrial refrigeration & air conditioning systems; such as splits, VRVs, VRFs, cold rooms and chillers.
You will be working on a range of HVAC systems made by a variety of manufacturers.
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer Duties:
- Complete installation works or air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial environments
Carry out all PPMs as necessary to onsite AC units such as Splits, Multi-splits, VRVs, VRFs, FCUs, DX Systems
Fault find and carry out repairs on all A/C units, refrigeration systems and chiller plants on site
Recover, repair, pressure test, vacuum dehydrate, charge and re-commission A/C units as required
Ensure the site's F-Gas logbook is kept up to date, and all losses, recoveries and additions are recorded appropriately
Be responsible for the maintenance and operational upkeep of portable and fixed refrigeration leak detection equipment
Plan, oversee and work with all subcontractors during service visits associated with Refrigeration systems
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 - Air conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 or equivalent
- Full UK Drivers Licence
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer Package:
- Salary: up to £36K (negotiable depending on experience)
- 40 Hours per week
- Paid travel time
- Overtime opportunities
