Our client is looking for an Arboricultural Project Manager to join their growing arboriculture team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team of arboriculturists and foresters who work on a wide range of projects from small individual tree assessments to large scale infrastructure projects in the UK
Their work covers all aspects of tree management and offer the opportunity to work on high profile and often challenging projects with the support of the wider arboricultural team.
Role Responsibilities
- Undertake tree surveys for both planning purposes and to assess tree condition.
- Prepare arboricultural reports, Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA), Arboricultural Method Statements (AMS), tree condition reports and risk assessments.
- Provide guidance on arboricultural issues and communicate technical concepts and principles to both clients and professional colleagues.
- Developing positive and profitable relationships with clients
- Developing Treework systems, services and products
- Providing training within the company and to external organisations
Experience and qualifications
- Level 5 QCF (or equivalent) minimum arboricultural qualification
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Arboriculture
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications (minimum: Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Excellent self-management skills
- Operate in a collaborative and collegiate manner within the Treework Team
- Be able to lead a team
- Good communicator
- Be adaptable, i.e. able to carry out field work as well as desk work and change locations and
- types of work as required
- A good ability to work to targets (i.e. for productivity and quality)
