Position: Estimator
Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic salary + Package benefits
Location: Essex
Summary: This opportunity is to work for a highly respected tiling contractor, now looking for an experienced Estimator. The ideal candidate would have a background of in tiling within the commerical fit-out space and worked on projects valued up to £12million.
You will be based out of their office in Essex and working on projects within the Commercial, Retail and Office fit-out sectors. All projects are located within London and Essex.
Duties:
- Production of accurate prime costs for the projects
- Co-ordinate the tender process
- Develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers etc
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity
- Develop relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Develop knowledge of market place and competitors
Candidate Profile:
- Build background, ideally with ceramic wall and flooring experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Significant understanding of the tiling industry
- Able to maintain a high level of work quality against cost restraints
- Proven track record on all forms of procurement
