Business Development Manager
Derby
You have the opportunity to work with a Derby based Manufacturing and engineering based company that has operated for over 30 years. They offer complete mechanical and electrical services to multiple market sectors, inclusive of the construction, agriculture, automotive, aerospace, rail and defence sectors
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for the HVAC services department. The main responsibility of this role is to drive sales, win new business and build on the back of previously won business to help grow the HVAC division
Business Development Manager - Responsibilities:
- Develop new sales to grow the HVAC installation and maintenance business for the company in line with agreed targets and divisional targets for turnover and contribution
- Promote the planned maintenance side of the business
- Develop customer relationships
- Proactively network across all channels
- Put together plans and estimates, including budgets and timescales
Other Responsibilities:
- Liaising between multiple company departments
- Proactively look for new opportunities for business development for other company departments
What we are looking for - Skills & Experience
- Industry knowledge within the air conditioning industry would be an advantage however not essential
- Strong proven Sales record
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and visitors.
- Able to demonstrate good customer service skills.
- Strong IT skills
- Able and willing to work to deadlines
- Reliable, honest and trustworthy
- Responsible and able to work on own initiative
- Confident and outgoing in nature
- Must be commercially aware.
Business Development Manager - Package:
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
- Company car - phone - laptop
- 25 days Holidays per year + bank holidays
