Refrigeration engineer
Southampton to Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Mobile Role
£42,000 - £46,000 + overtime
Our client is looking for a mobile refrigeration engineers to work on Multiple retail contracts in Southampton/Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. The contracts being covered range from small retail stores to large Supermarkets.
The successful candidate will be covering all aspects of reactive breakdown and planned maintenance on large commercial refrigeration equipment as well as smaller convenience stores.
The role will be on a 48 hour working week and will have a call out rota of 1 week in 4 or 1 week in 6.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Diagnosing and fixing Refrigeration systems
- Collection and fitting of new parts
- Carrying out reactive calls and planned maintenance
- Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way
- Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way
- Working safely in line with health and safety procedures - working around the client/customers
- Having good customer service skills and face-to-face communication
The ideal candidate will be an established engineer with an NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and possess a current F-Gas 2079 Certificate.
