Role: Project Manager Data Insight & Customer Performance
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + excellent benefits package
Location: Central London

My client is a leading housing maintenance and property services contractor within the public sector, the business provides housing repairs, planned maintenance and void refurbishments to over 200,000 properties throughout the UK. Due to significant contract wins and ambitious growth plans the business is currently recruiting for a Project Manager Data Insight & Customer Performance to join the business out of their offices based in Central London (close to Liverpool Street).
The business is leading the way in the sector with its innovative approach to social housing maintenance through investing in new technology to make day to day activities efficient, investing in their employees career development and creating lasting legacies within the community. My client would be really interested in speaking to data insight professionals who have worked for housing associations or a local authority.
You would report in to the Customer & Communications Director for the business and you would be responsible for supporting the data & reporting as well as the overall customer experience within the business by providing effective project management for turnaround and business improvement projects as well as ensure projects are delivered both to time and to budget, working closely with both internal and client teams, ensure risks are identified early and actively managed, and support on the implementation of the organisations policies, company, industry standards and initiatives with overall contractual compliance across all projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee project programmes and responsible through the management of the project team for updating and providing updates to the Executive and / or Client teams
- Ability to work well with pressure to develop project and implementations plans in line with the business plan objectives; set by both the Information Systems Director and Customer and Communications Director
- Successfully manage complexity with detail whilst avoiding delays, highlighting risk where necessary in a timely fashion with proposals for mitigation
- Creating plans and schedules using Microsoft projects / appropriate PM tool for Data Insight, customer (including the Rant & Rave platform role out) and other data related activities including social value
- Leads on the implementation of plans and monitor and measures their effectiveness
- Liaises with the wider business to provide regular updates, throughout different levels in the business
- Develop and lead a culture of delivering excellence and continuous improvement through constant review and actioning lessons learned
- Manage to set budgets
- Reprioritise to ensure key objectives are delivered
- Develops trusting relationships at all levels of the business by maintaining appropriate level of communication through project management meetings, reviews and updates
- Focus around the importance of the customer journey and insight
- Achieve a thorough knowledge of the business strategy, its core services, proposition and the investment in tools and processes
- Excellent understanding of the social housing sector including; R&M, planned refurbishment, and compliance services
- Significant project and change management experience
- Ability to build both strong client and internal relationships at all levels
Requirements:
- The post holder should have a natural affinity to understand systems, how they work and being able to explain this to others in a clear and concise way
- The role will require travel throughout the UK, but with particular focus on the South and South East of England
- Experienced around the use of MS Projects / PM tool
- Exceptional organisation skills team management experience / delivering through others
- Good presentational skills (concise and ability to relay critical activities)
- Understanding of hard and soft commercial benefits
- Microsoft Packages – Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook
- Sector experience / related experience preferred
- Lean Sigma/ Prince 2 – Desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
