They specialise in providing mechanical and electrical building services, building fabrics repair and soft services to multiple sectors inclusive of commercial offices, education, critical environments, retail sites, shopping centres, local authorities, distribution and logistics, manufactures.
The Role
Our client is looking to recruit a resident Commercial Gas Engineer for their highly reputable, logistics and online retailer contract.
They have a newly constructed fulfilment centre located at the new East Midlands Gateway, where they require a resident engineer to cover their HVAC PPM and reactive maintenance. The site has a mixture of boilers, radiant tube heaters and burners that will require regular maintenance.
Commercial Gas Engineer Duties:
The Commercial Gas Engineer role will be site based, carrying out service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
You will be working on a range of HVAC systems made by a variety of manufacturers. A full list is available on request.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Diagnosing and fixing HVAC systems
- Collection and fitting of new parts
- Carrying out reactive calls and planned maintenance
- Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way
- Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way
- Working safely in line with health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- ACS Gas - COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TPCP1A
- (Beneficial) NVQ level 2/3 - Mechanical Engineering/ Plumbing or equivalent
- (Beneficial) City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 or equivalent
- (Beneficial) City & Guilds 18th Edition or equivalent
- Hold a full UK drivers' licence
Commercial Gas Engineer Package
- Salary: 33,000/36,000 depending on experience
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Holidays: 33 days per year inclusive of Bank Holidays
