We are recruiting for an experienced handy person to work on a static basis covering maintenance operations in the Edinburgh area. The role will be assisting maintenance electricians in the PPMs' and reactive works plus small work projects to a commercial site. This is a temporary role for 12 weeks, paying £11.00ph PAYE + holiday pay
Description:
The role is looking after the low end maintenance of electrical plant and lighting to a commercial site, this will include:
- lighting and emergency lighting checks
- lamping
- project small works installation
- handyperson duties and fabric maintenance
- building services upkeep
- assisting and working with qualified engineers
- possible mechanical overlap such as AC filter changes etc.
Requirements:
Must have electrical experience
Partially qualified undergoing training
maintenance experience and willingness to complete general handyperson tasks
pro-active attitude
Ideally mobile with a valid driving license
