CDM Manager
£40K - £55K

Our client is looking to recruit a CDM Manager to manage and deliver CDM coordination across a range of national construction projects of varying size and complexity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic FM and construction environment and within a well-established and successful SHEQ Team working across contracts in Places, Healthcare and Education.

Role Overview
- Assist the Head of SHEQ and the Commercial Teams in working with our clients to understand how the CDM Regulations would be implemented.
- Ensure that any CDM-related documentation arising from this is stored appropriately.
- Maintain the in-house policy, procedures, forms and templates in support of CDM compliance.
- Work with SHEQ Team in Places, Healthcare and Education, and other stakeholders, to update and improve the documentation
- Deliver training on the implementation and operation of the CDM Procedures to stakeholders.
- Carry out CDM compliance audits of contracts and projects to ensure that the correct documentation is in use.
- Administer the internal notification process ensuring that all CDM activities are internally notified and considered.
- Collate and assess the internal CDM notifications and identify any high hazard activities which should then be notified to the SHEQ Team.
- Carry out construction site inspections, as required and assist with the close out of resulting non-conformances.
Qualifications
Professional Experience Required
- Experience of working with or managing the CDM Regulations 2015 including knowledge of all Duty Holder responsibilities.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and/or SMSTS
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Current CSCS Card
- Experience of working in the construction environment.
- Experience of working within a FM environment is desirable.
- A Safety Coach/Trainer qualification is desirable.
