The role as Estates Manager will be to deliver facilities management services within a corporate environment. This will include compliance, statutory, contractual and company regulations and processes.
As the Estates Manager you will be commercially competent, enthusiastic and flexible, and ensure exemplary standards of customer service are delivered to the client and visitors to the site at all times. Team building and staff morale will be a priority of the jobholder, coupled with fostering good relationships within the local environment.
Role
- Lead the team in the operational management and delivery of the relevant Facility Services including Cleaning, M&E, Manned Security and Projects where applicable and appropriate
- Responsible for creating a culture of service excellence and H&S management within the teams to ensure the site is compliant at all times
- Line management responsibility for the FM team and the estate team on site to develop them through a process of appraisal, coaching and formal training
- Responsible for the mobilisation of all new building projects within the estate
- Have an understanding of client business risk and drivers to assist with aligning a tailored and flexible delivery solution
- Ensure compliance on the contract and also ensure the team are able to self-audit with relevant information help in the site log books
- Manage front of house and maximise the utilisation of resources
- Conduct daily floor walks and raise the profile of the on-site FM team

- Experience managing large Estate/Portfolio
- Leadership & People Management
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
- NEBOSH
- Qualification in building surveying, property management or facilities management or equivalent Member of IWFM
