We are currently looking to recruit an electrically biased engineer, to work on a large maintenance contract across the West and North Yorkshire area, local to Leeds. The role is completing ppm and reactive maintenance across commercial properties in the area which include offices and retail buildings.
Although the role is mobile you will have a small patch to cover so this role is ideal for someone wanting to work locally to the Leeds area
Duties of the role include:
- All Electrical maintenance including lighting, wiring, basic BMS, lamping etc
- PPM and reactive breakdown work
- Water testing
- Ensuring work is completed within safe systems of work.
- Supporting the technical scheduling to ensure compliance is maintained for weekly, monthly quarterly, six monthly and yearly tasks.
- Demonstrating compliance by ensuring site paperwork and log books are up to date.
The ideal Candidate will possess:
- 17th/ /18th Edition
- An Electrical City and Guilds or NVQ
- Good all-round knowledge of electrical engineering
- L8 or Legionella training desirable but not essential
- Basic handyman skills
- Comfortable with driving
- Good communicator
- Trustworthy
- Ability to work alone
