We are working with one of the UK's leading industrial boiler manufacturing and boiler hire companies. They provide full installation, service, maintenance and hire services to various clients across multiple market sectors across the UK which includes; manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, agricultural, beverage, textile and petrochemical.

They are currently looking to recruit a Service Manager to take control of their various service and maintenance contracts in the Midlands and East of England.

Service Manager Duties include:


  • Responsible for day to day management of a team of field based engineers and sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring KPIs and SLA's are achieved
  • Providing technical assistance to field operatives and contractors
  • Recruitment
  • Ensuring training records are kept up to date
  • Carrying out 'work in progress' and 'post completion' audits
  • Monitoring of unauthorised absence
  • Site surveys
  • Pricing of projects and contracts
  • Monitoring profit & loss margins
  • Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are adhered to
  • Attending client and company meetings

Requirement for the role:


  • City and Guilds in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
  • Gas Safe registered.
  • Be qualified in both commercials & domestic gas safe qualifications
  • Have full knowledge of Gas Safe Regulations
  • Have full technical knowledge of gas regulations
  • Extensive experience of managing multi discipline teams.
  • Previous proven experience and knowledge of M&E.
  • IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications including office and excel.
  • Previous experience in the same or similar role is beneficial
