Area Manager
Milton Keynes
£35,000 - £40,000
Role
As a Area Manager you will be responsible for the day to day finances and operation of a cluster of sites, ensuring that it is maintained to the highest possible standards, with the guest experience being of paramount importance.
Reporting to the directors, you will oversee a team who focus on customer service, maintenance, sales and events, as well as a small team of support staff. You will ensure guest problems and maintenance issues are dealt with promptly and you will also seek to maximise upselling opportunities and help make a success of this ambitious new business.
Responsibilities
• To oversee the day to day operation of cluster
• To ensure the highest levels of customer service are consistently delivered
• To ensure that customer feedback is swiftly acknowledged and acted on where appropriate
• To maintain high standards of presentation throughout business
• To ensure that staff are trained to meet statutory health and safety requirements
• To maintain all appropriate compliance and H&S records
• To identify opportunities to expand, promote and develop the business
• To make regular financial and operational reports to the directors
Key Requirements
• Must be able to lead by example, be “hands-on”, practical and self-motivated
• Strong customer focus and financial acumen
• High standards of presentation
• The ability to organise, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility, a positive attitude and an ability to work calmly under pressure
You must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom and have a full, clean driving licence. Weekend and Bank Holiday working may also be required
