Mechanical Engineer – Wiltshire – Up to £33,000 per annum
Our client, an industry leading FM service provider, are looking to hire a mechanical engineer to work on a mobile basis in Wiltshire on a local authority contract.
The sites for this mechanical engineer are all commercial and include offices, libraries, schools and leisure centres, amongst other commercial environments.
As the mechanical engineer you will ideally be mechanically/plumbing qualified with either City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent, alongside a proven track record in commercial maintenance.
The duties of the mechanical engineer will include all ppm and reactive maintenance on plant including pumps, motors, changing seals, AHU’s and FCU maintenance, minor installs of HVAC related equipment, removing dead legs , putting up heaters, sprinkler checks, escorting sub-contractors, water checks, changing filters, chillers re-set’s, helping other engineers and general paper work.
- Monday – Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Salary up to £33,000 dependant on experience
- Call out rota

As the mechanical engineer you will also need to be able to pass an enhanced DBS check, due to the nature of some sites.
The ideal mechanical engineer will be someone with a client facing attitude, who is eager to learn new skills and able to hit the ground running.
