The Role: Mechanical Gas and HVAC Manager
Sector: Construction & Maintenance
Location: South East / London / Essex
Salary: £55,000pa + Car
I am working with a great client, who are growing at a very healthy rate, to find them a Mechanical Manager who specialises in HVAC and Gas installations / Repairs across commercial projects.
Ideally, you will have had exposure to retail and leisure facilities and be the ‘go to’ person for a team of both office based staff and mobile engineers.
This role will require someone who has strong leadership skills and is capable of motivating the team. You will be working in a demanding environment and must ensure that delivery to the clients is top notch. You need to care about what you do and instil those core values in your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day delivery of 24/7 reactive and planned maintenance
- Delivering and reporting on client SLA’s
- Driving staff productivity
- Acting on department escalation
- Client-facing reviews and meetings
- Reporting on financial performance
- Coordinating work processes and projects with other departments
- Quoting for jobs with a value of up to £250K
Along with the above, you will have responsibility for developing your team through training, recruitment and deployment and will need to be a strong decision maker with a solution-based focus.
Experience across domestic and commercial gas, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems is required along with a proven ability to manage people and be highly organised!
