Job Title: Accounts Manager - Temp to Perm
Based: Dartford, Kent
A growing recruitment agency is currently looking for an Accounts Manager. This agency specialises in temporary and permanent positions within Housing, Surveying, Construction and Facilities Management. This position is essential in providing an accurate and quality back office service to the businessC
Responsibilities
- Managing 3 members of staff
- Overseeing weekly payroll of 150 temp staff
- Responsible for the efficient running of sales and purchase ledger functions
- Reviewing and reporting on credit control (debtor days, risk analysis)
- Cashflow forecast (Weekly updating of billing and revenue forecast)
- Preparing VAT return
- Assistance with preparation of management accounts/Board pack
- Attending monthly meeting to discuss divisional profits, KPI's and company procedures
- Working with procurement to supply financial information for the completion of tenders
- Being reactive to all the front office needs and communicating any issues
Requirements
- AAT qualified
- Excel proficient (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Payroll experience
- Sage experience
- Excellent communication skills
- 'Can Do' attitude is vital. If they don't know the answer, they will find it
