Estate Management is looking to recruit a Water Safety Manager to provide support to the Water Quality Team in all duties connected with the alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings within a designated area of the Estate.
As part of the Water Quality Team you will provide front line support to University Departments by undertaking defect diagnosis, specification writing and management of engineering remedial works from feasibility study to completion.
The ideal candidate will be educated to or working towards their HNC level in a mechanical subject and have an apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline. You should have excellent organisational and communication skills along with the ability to use the Microsoft suite of IT software. This is an exciting opportunity to develop an engineering career on a diverse and rapidly expanding estate. Support will be given to candidates wishing to undertake studies to develop their career.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 18 months in the first instance.
