Salary: £35,000 - £36,000 + company car / car allowance + excellent benefits
I have an excellent opportunity for a community investment / CSR professional to work for one of the UK's leading housing maintenance contractors who are looking to bring on board a Community Investment Advisor to join their growing team based out of Basildon, Essex. The role is to ensure community engagement initiatives and programmes meet and in time, exceed the social value plan of the contractor that I am representing.
The ideal candidate would come from a social housing background and be able to hit the floor running in the role with my client, they are looking for a fresh approach to their community investment strategy and for someone to come on board with new ideas and the ability to design results driven programmes that fit the needs of their clients.
The candidate will be responsible for working with stakeholders to identify local charities, schools and projects that can benefit from support or sponsorship, relevant to the regeneration of the boroughs throughout Essex. As well as client promotions, such as open-days, fun-days and competitions, partnership working and team building events. The ideal candidate would be someone who can lead, develop and deliver innovative social value and community engagement initiatives/programmes across the contractors housing refurbishment division and ensure that their recognised industry standards and approach to working in communities are met.
The company offers a competitive salary in the region of £35,000 car allowance or company car + industry leading benefits with scope for progression within the companies structure.
