The Account Manager will share ownership and overall commercial responsibility with the Sales Director for customer relationships, revenue retention and generation within an assigned account base, responsible for managing and supporting the accounts on a day-to-day basis. In addition, there will be a requirement to provide ad-hoc support for the sales team with tender and bid submissions, client proposals and preparation for sales meeting, liaising with the support team as required.
Key Requirements
A highly motivated and experienced sales professional
Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills
Proven negotiation and closing skills
Well organised with good time management
Excellent written and spoken business English
4 + years of sales experience within a software solutions environment or the facilities management industry
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Achieve sales revenue targets, working closely with colleagues to identify and close sales opportunities for CAFM solutions, training and FM health checks
Ongoing development of existing client accounts to generate incremental revenue and to ensure that clients maximise the use of their SWG application(s)
Proactive management of the retention and growth of client accounts, building, creating and developing a strategy to achieve this
Enlist clients to SWG promotional events, seminars, user groups and webinars
Collate, store and manage client correspondence in line with SWG policy
Ensure client invoices are issued and paid on time
Liaise with the Finance department on billing enquires/issues
Liaise with helpdesk consultants/support team for timely resolution of outstanding client issues
Maintain client configuration information and work with the support team to identify and close client training requirements
Work with marketing and sales teams to create prospect, client and market specific presentations and sales collateral
Participate in marketing programmes and client events where required
Liaise with SWG staff/directors where appropriate on new sales opportunities
Other reasonable duties to provide effective account management
