An opportunity has arisen to work with one of the Leading FM Companies as a Maintenance Electrician.
Working with one of the leading Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance / Facilities Maintenance companies in the UK/worls. As a company they employ over 8,000 multi-skilled engineers in the UK and 80,000 worldwide with a turnover more than £1.5 billion
This role is to operate within the maintenance department working across a number of commercial contracts as a Maintenance Electrical Engineer carrying out planned/reactive works in the Reading area.
Job Description;
- 6 week comtract
- Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Monday to Friday, Overtime available
- £18-£20ph
- Location – Reading
Job specific accountabilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance programme on variety of electrical equipment
- Carry out reactive repairs to electrical systems and equipment as per requirement
- Accept and feedback work on PPM system and suggest improvements
- Operate and manage all automated control systems, including BMS and Lighting
- Liaise with our clients representative on a day to day basis regarding work issues
- Undertake Health and Safety, Technical and other training as required
Essential Qualifications;
- Full Electrical qualifications to a minimum City & Guilds or equivalent (NVQ 2 or 3)
- 17th/18th Edition – Regulations
- Must have commercial maintenance experience
- Fault finding abilities are essential
Desirable Qualifications;
- Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer based systems
- 2391 qualification would be desirable but not a requirement
