Role: Group Business Development & Marketing Manager
Location: Orpington, South East London

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + car allowance + benefits package
I am working with an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy who are based in Orpington, South East London. Due to the business growing significantly over the last year they now have the capacity to recruit a Group Business Development and Marketing Manager with a strategic focus to join their established team.
My client provide building surveying, project management and health & safety services to an array of clients throughout the UK and are currently working on a portfolio of projects in the residential, commercial, education, healthcare, retail, office, sport and leisure sectors. The role would require the post holder to develop the groups business plan and marketing strategies whilst working in cohesion with the divisional directors, managers and key stakeholders in leading, developing and managing business and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of group client relationships whilst identifying key clients and oversee the management of them
- Develop and propose sales targets and lead the strategy to open relationships and create new business opportunities
- Lead and manage group attendance at all conferences and industry events including developing and implementing a strategy to gain value attendance of such events
- Lead and manage all group social event attendance
- Maintain and develop the company brand and ensure branding is used correctly in the market place
- Develop and maintain the group website whilst ensuring the website provides quality up to date content and news
- Identify and lead the submission for awards
- Lead the groups social media presence
- Lead the production of all marketing material including brochures, magazines, annual report and flyers
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would come from a multi-disciplinary consultancy
- Proven track experience in a business development or sales role in the property & construction sector
- Ambitious, articulate, and experienced around marketing of a business including overseeing the social media presence
- A confident communicator, persuasive and able to negotiate and bring onboard new business
- You will need to be presentable and confident enough to manage meetings with high profile corporate organisations
- Full UK Driving License
